Cultural tourism in northwest Skåne
Skåne Nordväst (Skåne Northwest) is a collaboration between eleven municipalities in the northwest region of Skåne. The project consisted of developing a model for analysing how well the region’s cultural institutions and initiatives perform in attracting tourists. The model is developed to be used as a tool for coming up with ideas about how the cultural institutions can be become more relevent for potential tourists.
The project included
- Research and intelligence-gathering about criteria for attracting tourists
- Development of a index model on how well a cultural institution perform in the different criteria
- An analysis of about 20 cultural institutions in the region
- Recommendations
- Presentation at a conference
